Jonathan Groff is an American actor and singer. He is most known for the lead role of Melchior Gabor in the award winning Broadway rock musical Spring Awakening, for which he earned a Tony Award nomination in 2007. In addition to multiple stage performances, he has appeared on television in the previously recurring role as Jesse St. James on the FOX series Glee.
He also voiced Kristoff in Disney's newest Academy Award nominated feature film, Frozen, and currently plays Patrick on HBO's Looking.
